Tanner Anderson

Tanner Ryan Anderson was born in Long Beach, California, but at the age of two his parents, Gilman and Lynn, moved their family to Minneapolis where he completed his primary and secondary education. Tanner's sister Briana is three years his senior and resides in Austin, Texas with her husband Steve and their two crazy dogs. Through his school years Tanner was an accomplished multi-sport athlete, and achieved all-conference honors in basketball as a high school junior and senior at Holy Family Catholic. During these latter two years he served as team captain, set several school records, and finished runner-up for the Conference Player of the Year. He moved on to play four years of college basketball at Hamline University, serving as team captain his final two years, and being awarded the Sportsmanship award for his conference as a junior.
