Biography

Originally from Mississippi, Sam Malone never imagined New Orleans would become his home. Now nestled in the Big Easy, and having received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Theatre Performance, working under the tutelage of the late, great John Dennis, Sam began his journey in full-time acting, with breakout roles in HBO's 'Treme' and the award winning series 'True Detective'. Simultaneous to these on screen opportunities, Sam performed on stage in such esteemed productions as August Wilson's 'Jitney', and William Shakespeare's 'Titus Andronicus'. After performing professionally for some time, Sam Malone continued education pursuing his Master's degree in Theatre with a concentration in Performance at the University of New Orleans.
