Biography

Ingrid Jean-Baptiste is an Actor, Model and Creator of the Chelsea Film Festival in New York. She was born and raised in Paris, speaks fluent French, English, German and Creole. Ingrid Jean-Baptiste made her acting debut in 2004 on French television: "Le Syndrome de Stockholm" directed by Patrick Chesnais, where she portrayed the girlfriend of famous actor Darry Cowl. She attended La Sorbonne University in Paris and became a journalist specialized in the Arts. After working as a journalist for 4 years, she decides to go back to acting, her old and true passion. She moves to Los Angeles then New York, where she graduates from The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. In 2012, Ingrid had a major car accident in which 7 other people got involved. She is then forced to take a break from acting and decides to work from home with the help of her mother Sonia Jean-Baptiste.
