Biography

Ryan Groves is an actor, writer and producer from Greenville, Mississippi and is best known as an actor, writer and producer of the forthcoming web series, "The Ploy." A graduate of Rutgers University, Groves began his acting career as an extra in the independent film, "Stuck," directed by Stuart Archer. Shortly after his move to Los Angeles, Groves landed a role as "Liam" in the short film, "Getting Help." Groves also accepted television roles in "Delirium" and "Legends," starring Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings trilogy), Tina Majorino (Napoleon Dynamite, True Blood) and Ali Larter (Resident Evil: Afterlife) and in film with a featured role in "April Rain," directed by Luciano Saber. Groves cites writing as his first love, drawing and writing scripts for his own comic book as a child. What began as a hobby eventually came to life in the form of his graphic novel, "Red Herring."
