Biography

Taissa is a Latinx-American television and film actor. Taissa was born in Arizona to her Jewish-Brazilian parents Paula Menna Barreto and Oscar Zveiter, but she was raised in Brazil. She also speaks three languages. After training in dance for over 10 years in Brazil, Taissa started to receive roles in theater and film. She has studied the Meisner technique and later studied Theater in Mesa's College in Arizona. While studying theater, her appearance on the musical production Curtains garnered regional attention and she was described "visually captivating" on a review by the Phoenix New Times. Taissa also performed as Mary Warren in 'The Crucible' for a regional Arizona production, part for which she won the Theater Outback's award for Best Supporting Actress. As a dancer, she has worked for Arizona Opera's production of Aida for their 2012 season. Taissa now devotes most of her time to her on-screen career.
