Tom Davis

Tom Davis is a book author and an award-winning journalist and web producer who is managing editor of Best's Review and helped build Patch.com. His first book, "A Legacy of Madness: Recovering My Family from Generations of Mental Illness," was released by Hazelden Publishing on Oct. 3, 2011. The book deals with how five generations of his family confronted self-destruction, but the latest generation has found some sense of recovery. The book was endorsed by former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. The book has appeared on Amazon best-seller lists for books that deal with suicide and anxiety disorder, among others. Davis has appeared on Entertainment Tonight, the CBS Evening News, WABC-TV and Fox-5 New York to comment on and discuss mental health issues, particularly issues that deal with eating disorders.
