Biography

André Lourido is a Portuguese actor known for Último a Sair (2011), Depois do Adeus (2013), Laços de Sangue (2010), Rosa Fogo (2011) and Incómodo (2011). Having graduated in Languages, Literatures and Cultures from Évora University in 2010, he was also part of the University's Theatre Group (that he helped reinvigorate by co-creating the renewed group TEIA). He played the role of Peardrop, a breeder of polyhedra, in the inaugural play "Ubu Cuckolded", by Alfred Jarry. Studied Meisner Technique with actor, writer and director John Frey, in Lisbon, from 2010 to 2012, alongside other important names in Portuguese theatre and cinema, such as Sandra Celas, Tiago Fernandes and Francisco Côrte-Real. Also in 2010 he takes part in the acting course "Facing the Character", with Renato Borghi from "Embaixada do Teatro Brasileiro", alongside award winning actress Sandra Barata Belo and other actors.
