Andrea Bucko

Andrea is a Canadian Film Producer and Screenwriter. Andrea was born in Vancouver, Canada, and is a first-generation Czech and Slovak making her bilingual in both Slovak and English. Andrea first gained recognition by producing her 2017 documentary "Last Straw" for "United Nations Oceans". She is now on the board of directors for the NGO Wecare2030. Andrea is an Executive Producer on Marlowe, a film directed by Neil Jordan with a screenplay by William Monahan. The film stars Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, and Mos Def. Andrea is a Producer on Captivated, a film being directed by Dito Montiel and also Produced by Michael Benaroya with a screenplay by Robin Shushan. In 2020 she Produced On Our Way (2021), the directorial debut of Sophie Lane Curtis which stars James Badge Dale, Jordana Brewster, Vanessa Redgrave, Michael Richardson, and Keith Powers.
