Matt D. Lord

Matt Lord is probably the most unlikely of success stories. A youthful interest in filmmaking was preempted by the unfortunate occurrence of becoming a responsible adult. Following the amicable dissolution of his 10 year marriage Matt reached out to Little Sicily productions in Niagara Falls, NY. Following a rather inauspicious meeting with the founders of Little Sicily, Matt got a chance. Since that chance Matt helped develop the business plan for White Lion Studios before establishing Mighty Niagara Productions. Matt found success as a director with the action comedy short Return of the Hill Kings and later, by directing Ken Cosentino and Liz Houlihan's great story, the found footage creature feature, Wolf House. Matt and Ken had a great run finding them winning an award for special effects makeup in the 2014 Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film festival for their work on Within and in the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival, where Wolf House garnered an honorable mention.
