Lia Sinchevici

Lia Sinchevici (Sin-Kay-Vi-ch) was born in the Eastern European town called Rezina, Republic of Moldova, daughter of the two doctors, Vladimir and Maria. Lia has Polish origins. Since childhood she was very poetic, reciting poetry in front of crowds and later being a young TV star in her local town TV station, broadcasting and presenting various shows and also an activist of the debate club. At age 16, first exit outside Moldova was into the USA as an exchange student, winning a Future Leaders Exchange scholarship to represent the culture of her country. Did great volunteering work in some schools of Ohio and taught people about Moldovan traditions and learned about American culture throughout her host-family. After graduating school, she decided to study Journalism in Romania, the country next door.
