Biography

Anthony Michael Hobbs is an award winning actor and filmmaker. He began acting at 5 years old. In his first year as an actor he quickly developed a name as a professional and talented actor completing 11 projects in one year which included 4 national, 1 international, and 3 regional projects. In 2013, Anthony appeared in a supporting role as Young Frederick Douglass in PBS' The American Experience: The Abolitionist which earned a 2013 Emmy nomination. At 10 years old Anthony became an award winning filmmaker with his short film "One Nation" which appeared in almost 10 film festivals across the United States, and winning 4 awards including "Best Youth Filmmaker", "Best Youth Film", and the "Spirit Award" for his dedication to filmmaking. He has gone on to make numerous acclaimed films since "One Nation".
