Biography

Jessica Juarez is an American-born actress from Whittier, California. A first generation American with Hispanic roots, Juarez began acting in children's theatre groups, then joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute studying under Lee Strasberg protégés Hedy Sontage and Marc Marno. Legendary casting director Jane Jenkins discovered Juarez in an actor's showcase and helped her find representation. In two short years, Juarez has established herself as a name in television: first landing a recurring role in Alfonso Gomez-Rejon's Paramount pilot "Citizen", followed by an all-shows produced guest star role in the Netflix original series "American Vandal" and then testing for a lead in Michael Patrick King's E! pilot "Juicy Story". When Juarez was cut at the network, King created a role in the pilot to establish a character for her should the show be picked up to series.
