Alex Gabbott

Alex Gabbott is an award-winning director/editor working across TV and Web (or "Deluxe Content" as he prefers to call it.) Specialising in comedy, he has worked with some of the biggest names in Australia - and even smaller, four-letter names like Rove. His work includes Tim Minchin, Tonightly, The Axis of Awesome, Insert Coin, SBS Comedy, A Rational Fear, Gruen, Sammy J, Aunty Donna, Planet America, Saturday Night, Whovians, Giant Dwarf, Hannah and Eliza Reilly and the Bondi Hipsters. He created the documentary half of the Emmy-Award winning #7DaysLater (Ludo Studio) and an award-winning Polyphonic Spree music video with The Umbilical Brothers. He has recently finished editing the 6x30 Musical Documentary Stories from Oz, broadcasting on ABC in 2022. It's very good.
