Samuel Caruana

Samuel Caruana was born in Paterson, New Jersey. As a toddler, Samuel was with his parents in NYC when he was spotted by casting directors for Fisher Price and cast in their project " Baby Moves " . Samuel's father was a staff audio engineer at Sony Music Studios and a two time Grammy Award winner for his work with Beyoncé so Samuel spent much of his early years inside some of the most iconic recording studios in the music industry. It's no wonder Samuel started taking piano and recorder lessons at age four with recording artist/musician Marc Mommaas. Samuel received his first soprano saxophone at age six ; a custom made curved soprano by Robertos in NYC . At age seven Samuel became the youngest member of the New York Jazz Academy Junior Jazz Band, where he studied soprano saxophone with Javier Arau.
