Biography

Katy Bodenhamer is an actress and writer who is gradually making a name for herself in the entertainment business. She was born Kathryn Lynn Bodenhamer in the small town of Hershey, NE, to Nancy (Kellogg), a lab technician, and Richard Bodenhamer Jr., a farmer and rancher. Bodenhamer began performing at an early age, partaking in Spring Tea's and Christmas programs for the local farmers and their wives at the one-room schoolhouse she attended. Her first "big" role was in Kindergarten where she played the "lead" role of the mute Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Despite being mute and not having any lines, she found a home on stage. Bodenhamer squeezed in some acting around a busy athletic schedule in high school (volleyball warm-up included Mary Katherine Gallagher skits) , then in college as a freshman she landed a lead role in the university's theatrical performance of Lend Me A Tenor.
