Biography

Born and raised in Hackney, East London to a mixed English/ North African heritage. From a young age, Moneer showed an eagerness for Acting, beginning on the stage and eventually performing for the Queen on her Golden Jubilee at the tender age of 10. This began a journey of the hunger for acting that continues to stay with him. After being diagnosed with high-functioning Autism, Moneer became a chief contributor to the BAFTA award winning documentary "Only Human: Make me normal" and till this day campaigns for greater awareness on the condition. Giving talks and lectures on the subject as well as collaborating with others of varying mental health conditions with the aim of removing the taboo surrounding discussions of mental health. After performing with the Chicken Shed theatre company and the national youth theatre, Moneer then studied performing arts at City and Islington college, where he discovered a love for film and television acting.
