Biography

Logan James Thoreau is an American filmmaker born September 6th, 1982 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Known for his work in production on 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' and 'Time Out of Mind'. He is also known for writing & producing short films 'Jungle Fever' (2012) and 'Katherine'. In 2014 Logan founded the independent production company Thoreau Entertainment based in Manhattan, New York. Logan Thoreau was encouraged into acting by his elementary school music teacher at age of 8. He often appeared in school plays, talent shows, and also served as the student program director for his school's morning news broadcast, 'Good Morning Garden City'. As a teenager, Thoreau was heavily involved with community organizations the 'Explorer' program, a division of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, or J.R.O.T.C., at Fort Pierce Central High School.
