Sidika Larbes

Born and raised in Vancouver BC, Canada, Sidika is a multilingual Film, Television and Voice Over Actress. Her mother is of Hungarian descent and her father is Algerian. Sidika spent her childhood growing up in the colorful and community-driven downtown West End core. Her first taste of acting was at the age of 11 in an elementary school play as a Poppy in the Wizard of Oz. Before pursuing her career in the Arts she moved to Europe and later to Montreal in her early twenties and graduated with degrees in Art History and Human Relations from Concordia University. Sidika made the move back to her hometown in 2006 and a few years later started her professional career in the Film and Television industry. Cutting her teeth in Sketch Comedy and having formed and been part of the all female troupe 'Strapless', she wrote, directed and performed in all sketches and toured Canada to sold out houses.
