Jim Middleton

Animator and educator Jim Middleton has also been a practicing pharmacist in Battle Creek for over 30 years. He has created and coordinated arts and film production courses at area community colleges and sill takes his pharmacy license out for regular walks as director of pharmacy for Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. His drug monographs have been a regular feature in professional publications, his textbook on pharmacology is self-illustrated and in its 4th edition, and his film work has earned him international recognition. Middleton's portrayal of the notorious Frank J. Kellogg ("the other Kellogg") is a regular feature of the Battle Creek Historical Society. Although he is a pharmacist, he uses nothing stronger than coffee (although, he confesses, it is very strong coffee).
