Biography

Mercè is a trilingual, award-winning actress from Barcelona who works extensively in theatre and TV, both in the UK and internationally. She trained at East 15 Acting School on the acclaimed Contemporary Theatre Course and has been based in London since 2005. In addition to her freelance career, Mercè is Co-Artistic Director of Little Soldier Productions, a critically-acclaimed international theatre company making joyfully irreverent new work. Mercè's TV Credits include The Trip (BBC 2) directed by Michael Winterbottom, and Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror (Channel 4). In theatre, she specialises in devised work, physical comedy & clown, and has also worked with classic texts. She has developed work under the direction of celebrated theatre makers Ursula Martinez, Paul Hunter, Josette Bushell-Mingo and Aitor Basauri.
