Lynn Welborn

A character actor best known as Noah, one of the Banished Brawlers in Reprisal (2019). Works primarily in projects filmed in the Wilmington, NC area, his home region. Usually cast as a tough guy, criminal, barfly, or ruffian. He also penned three books (Crazy Beach Disc I-III) about growing up in the Cape Fear region. The first title was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 2018. Welborn was a college professor and holds a Doctorate in Business. His career path also includes long-time stints as a journalist (NC Press Award 1993), entrepreneur, and economic developer.
