Biography

C. Thomas Ashmore, also known as Tom Ashmore, is an Osage Native who resides with his family in Oklahoma. He was raised and mentored by artists of many different respects including painters, drawers, sculptors, fiber art and fashion designers, musicians and poets. The arts and entertainment are inherent in his bloodline. As a musician by hobby and Actor by profession, he is carrying on his family legacy. His role as the Tribal Council Interpreter in Scorsese's film,"Killers of the Flower Moon", offered him the opportunity to join the SAG-AFTRA Union. Aside from acting, he works for his people as the Water Quality Specialist at the Department of Natural Resources with the Osage Nation. He speaks his language and teaches classes part-time as well as hosts the WahZhaZhe Osage and Language Podcast. He is married to a Diñe woman with which they have two sons.
