Sarah Cool

As a child, my parents encouraged my sister and me to join the Theatre Workshop in Kansas City, Missouri where we learned acting and improv basics at a young age. We then acted in local community theatre productions along with our father. In high school, I worked backstage on theatre productions and managed our show choir. Live theatre has always fascinated me. In Aug 2021, I enjoyed being selected to be a part of the studio audience for a two hour long live taping of the Mid-Season Finale of Sistas at Tyler Perry Studios in East Point / Atlanta. During this taping, Mr. Perry interviewed the five principal actresses of Sistas. He also described how Background Actors can submit for parts on his shows filmed in Atlanta. My interest in acting was rekindled as I listened to Mr. Perry and the Sistas cast members talk about their acting careers. And so I began submitting for Background roles on several of his shows, as well as other productions. Since that experience at Tyler Perry Studios
