Biography

Since the age of 6 Asher Kaplan has been passionate about making movies. His first project "Sight Unseen", starring Rob Morrow and Jon Tenney, was an ambitious 25 page script and a 7 day shoot with multiple locations. With this project he found his producing partner Remy Wood and together they formed Long Road Productions. In his sophomore year in high school Kaplan was accepted to the directors intensive at USC. He attended classes and produced a short film titled "Destination", starring Vaughn Page and John Senese. This film was reviewed by all members of the class, professors, and student body and garnered him top honors in the class. Since then, Kaplan has has made several films with "Today", his Chapman submittal film, being a standout. He is currently a Junior at Chapman University, studying at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. While attending Dodge, he has made five films so far. "Liminal", starring Jon Tenney and Vaughn Page, is his most recent. With a natural talent
