Biography

Rod graduated from Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Arts, Acting for Stage and Screen course in 1993. He learned a lot from great acting lecturers like Colin Anderson, Ray Goodlass, Jennifer West and, Kerry McGuire. After moving to Sydney he screen tested for many well known Australian and international films including, Paperback Hero and Mission Impossible Two. In the 2000's Rod acted in All Saints, 'Beyond All Praise', season 3 episode 18. Foxtel's Criminal Investigation Australia, The Kimberley Killer in 2007 playing the supporting role of Lance Bullen the murdered son. In 2010 he was cast along side Phil Lloyd and Amanda Bishop in Starchild Production's lewd comedy, Review with Miles Barlow. In 2020 Rod has been cast in the leading role of a new low budget and, independent Australian feature film, a romantic comedy, The Life and Times of Harold Bum, which starts shooting in Queensland in March 2021 and, is scheduled to conclude shooting in December 2024.
