Biography

Tamer Abedrabbo is of Middle Eastern descent. Having re-located from New Jersey to Amman, Jordan shortly after the US invaded Iraq. Tamer found himself living in the epicenter of conflict in the Middle East. Jordan is known as the Switzerland of Arabia; A neutral paradise in the middle of a region at war. Tamer's family decided it was best for him to learn his native tongue Arabic as well as assimilate to his culture, however unaware, assimilation, culture and identity meant understanding displacement, as a collective understanding of being Arab in the new world. The neighborhood he lived in only had 5 residential buildings, in less than a year, 15 new residential buildings surrounded his, all Iraqi civilians fleeing war-torn Iraq in refuge. Shortly after the civil war in Syria had begun, dawning a beautiful story of displacement. This experience has cultivated his eagerness for hard work, success, ambition and above all leadership.
