Biography

Yeti Tears is an American artivist and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. Born Miguel Tully in Arlington, VA, he is the eldest son of Lorraine Villanueva, a founding member of the Coro de Ninos de San Juan. He started his first band in 2001 called TYPO, recording their first studio project in 2004. In 2009, Tully enlisted in the US Army as an Infantryman. He continued his passion for the arts by painting murals for the military and producing electronic music on his laptop during his deployments to Iraq and South Korea. He pursued his interests in film writing with his colleagues from 2010 to present day. After suffering a stroke, he founded GI Greens in Colorado in 2014 to advocate for Veterans. He attended several schools, focusing on studies in film and audio engineering, where he was instructed by Platinum winning engineers and mentored by legendary artist, Gilbert Young in art and restoration.
