Biography

From Dallas, Texas, his biological parents were both only children and passed when he was young. He was raised by his maternal grandparents and a great-grandmother. He studied Drama for a few years in high school and college where he first discovered acting. Worked in human resources and payroll for many years living in ten states located in all regions of the country. Worked in Pro Wrestling for two years in a small Indy and also competed in natural bodybuilding where he was featured in a Nutrition Express supplement catalog. His first major acting gig was in a play called Auntie Mame (1958) where he was cast as Brian O'Bannion. It gave him the acting bug and desire to play more roles. He portrayed Spiderman several times including fund raisers and children's events. Started in background roles after moving to California at the encouragement of a friend who starred on the TV series, Dallas (1978).
