Biography

Emma McCoslin is a Honduran-born actress who began her acting career later in life. As a school teacher on vacation in America in the early 70s, she met her future husband, Dennis Michael McCoslin, without speaking a word of English nor he a word of Spanish. It was indeed love at first sight. After watching her daughter, actress Mykle McCoslin's passion for acting, Emma secretly got the acting bug without telling her family by helping out a friend, Houston's prima ballerina, Karina Gonzales, in a local Toyota commercial earning her SAG-AFTRA eligibility. Now a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Emma made her television debut as Lalo Salamanca's (Tony Dalton) cook in AMC's Better Call Saul, booking the role from her first taped audition request. She plays Guillermo's (Harvey Guillén) grandma, Maite, in FX's What We Do In The Shadows.
