Nikki Marshall

Nicola Coppock was born in Rotterdam, Holland on 16th April 1978. At the time her parents had moved there from Jarrow in the North East of England, for work. They returned to Jarrow less than 2 years later and this was the base where Nicola was raised. The Geordie accent pronunciation for Nicola was very different from the Dutch and Nicola soon became Nikki as her mother said it no longer sounded exotic. Nikki was 4 when her parents separated and she stayed with her mother and new partner, who became a fun step father. She also inherited a step brother who she got on great with. Throughout Nikki's childhood she moved around, to country side, farm house, cities but was always drawn back to her little home town of Jarrow. Nikki always had a passion for film and drama and enjoyed performing in local youth theatres. Her first teacher was Michael McNally, who had links to TV productions and landed some of Nikki's peer's roles in Byker Grove and The Bill. Nikki loved the drama, and tried t
