Pete Young

Being the son of a steel broker and a food technologist, Pete Young struggled to find his lifelong passion until he landed his debut acting role in 1986 as a mouse in Cinderella at the La Habra Depot Theatre. He auditioned and attended the Orange County High School of the Arts as a Musical Theatre student, and was also an active member of the Los Alamitos High School's Show Choir for the second half of his high school tenure. He became inspired by his Show Choir director, Randi Carp, and decided to pursue his education at California State University, Long Beach with a double major in Music Education & Performance (Vocal) with the desire to become a high school choir teacher himself but dropped out to move to Cincinnati. His self-proclaimed favorite role he did on stage was at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa when he appeared as the Beast in the new musical, "Beauty and the Beast".
