Pearl Matteson

Pearl Matteson is a New York based actor, who was born in China and raised in Connecticut. When she was little, she first began performing on ice, training to be a professional figure skater. When she was cast in South Pacific at the age of 10, she knew performing was her calling, and immersed herself in studying the triple threat of singing, acting, and dancing. Pearl Matteson graduated from The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts High School, where she majored in Musical Theatre in Dance, and continued her education at The University of Connecticut, where she received her BFA in Acting, with a minor in Business. Junior year of college, Matteson was fortunate enough to be able to travel to London, England and study Acting. During that program, Matteson became Stage Combat Certified with the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC), receiving Distinction in hand to hand combat, rapier, sword, and dagger working with Rc-Annie.
