Biography

Murran Kain was born to Catherine and Derek Kain on June 28, 2001, in Brisbane. She grew up on the Gold Coast and attended high school at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, in Terranora. She began her acting career at a young age, attending various performing arts schools, where she started in musical theatre. Her first film opportunity was when she was 8 years old, in the form of a commercial. In 2017, Murran performed a solo at the United Nations in New York City. She was offered a leading role in her final year of school, as the titular character Nightingale in the Television series, Nightingale - Lonely Melodies. From there, she has been involved in many films, series and musical performances. She won Best Female Lead for her role in Beacon (2021) at the Sick Chick Flicks Film Festival USA.
