Brian Black

Brian was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1977. He grew up in a working class family in the nearby town of Antrim where he lived for most of his life before moving to the Greater Belfast area with his wife. having had a keen interest in the military from a young age he joined the Army Cadet's, Royal Engineers regiment, where he stayed as a dedicated member until the mandatory leaving age of 18yrs old. In these five years he rose quickly through the ranks due to his dedication and attention to detail, specifically with weapons training, orienteering and military drill manoeuvres. Sadly he was unable to further his Army career as he was unable to reach the minimum weight limit at recruitment age, and continued to struggle to reach this weight until he was too old for many of the regiments. He spent nearly twenty years in the auto trade doing a range of various roles from mechanic to windscreen fitter, from vehicle damage estimator to parts person. He came out of employment in 2014 t
