Rachel Zegler

Rachel Zegler is an American singer and actress from New Jersey. She rose to fame after being cast as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (2021), chosen from over 30,000 auditionees. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Zegler gained early attention through viral videos of her singing, including a cover of “Shallow.” She later starred in Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) and was cast as the lead in Disney’s upcoming live-action Snow White. She also voices the lead in the animated musical Spellbound.
