Claudia Kai

Claudia Kai (born August 25, 1998) is an Asian-Canadian actress based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Kai was born and raised in Richmond, British Columbia until the age of nine. She then lived in Hong Kong for seven years, studying with a full-ride academic scholarship at the French International School 'Victor Segalen' of Hong Kong. There, she had been a competitive figure skater. She had gone up to ISU Level 8, before transitioning into becoming a national-level competitive ice hockey player. She went on to win City Leagues and Championships, represented Hong Kong in tournaments across Asia, and won 'Best Defensive Player' and 'Most Valuable Player' in 2011. In 2014, she moved back to Canada. In 2016, she graduated with academic awards and honors at Kitsilano Secondary School. She later went on to study English, philosophy, psychology and religion at the University of British Columbia with a full-ride academic scholarship.
