Films that easily remind the vibe of Japanese writer Haruki Murakami, either with their plot or some elements of his work. Please note that I’m not talking about movie adaptations of his works (Burning, Norwegian Wood, Drive My Car, etc.) The first thirteen films of the list easily remind me his style, but the other films are suggestions I’ve heard from the people (some of them I watched). Directors like Wong Kar-wai and Makoto Shinkai have some Murakami's vibe. Other suggestions are welcome.
