Storyline:  Inès works in a well-known German consulting firm in Bucharest, leading a carefully organized and stress-filled life. Everything changes when her father, Winfried, an extroverted and joking man, suddenly appears and asks her a simple question: “Are you happy?”. Not knowing how to answer, Inès undergoes a profound transformation. That father, who often makes her uncomfortable and embarrasses her, will end up helping her rediscover the meaning of her life through a fictional character: the amusing Toni Erdmann.
