A gun waving, religious old mama points her magnum revolver at people whenever she fears "the devil" is afoot. This leads to her shooting a friend of her son's and almost intentionally shooting him as well, until he manages to disarm her and choke her to death. He later goes and shoots his friend, killing him (pretty bloody).

A man strangles another man to death with a belt.

Wine drinking, as well as cigarettes, but in one scene the youngest looking woman looks to be rolling up a marijuana cigarette, and the killer smokes from some kind of a pipe. The pipe was made to look like it could have been a crack pipe, but I don't know enough about that type of drug to say for sure.
