Bridge of Spies (2015)

Plot Summary

Amidst the Cold War, the Soviets capture US pilot Francis Gary Powers after downing his spy plane. James Donovan, a New York lawyer, becomes the lifeline for Powers' freedom, negotiating in Berlin for a prisoner exchange. The twist: Rudolf Abel, a spy Donovan previously defended, could be the key. Tensions rise in this gripping saga of loyalty and diplomacy.
