Storyline:  The film follows the story of Conor, a teenage boy who forms a band with friends to impress a girl he likes, but along the way they all discover their enjoyment of music and composing their own songs. In addition, Conor uses music as an escape to cope with his parents' failing marriage. Set in Ireland in the '80s, it has great (and catchy) music, is satisfyingly told, and its endearing characters make you wish you could spend more time with them.
