Storyline:  Based on the story of Desmond T. Doss, a U.S. Army soldier who refuses to carry a gun because it goes against his beliefs. So much so that he causes a great impact and suspicion among his peers and superiors, who do not understand him. However, Desmond overcomes the obstacles imposed on him and becomes a vital war medic as the battle of Okinawa unfolds.
