Miss Kate Hallee isn't your ordinary lady. She travels the country playing many parts, catching the bad guys, saving the good. She's smart, classy. Strong, confident. Honest, funny. After she and her team of FBI Agents capture the notorious con-artist womanizing murderer, Malcolm Scathers, Kate heads to beautiful Jekyll Island, Georgia, for a long overdue vacation away from everyone. That is until Oliver Milliken, a handsome gentleman arrives with a smile for her and seems to be every where she is when she is. When finally a full day goes by undisturbed for her, she is certain he has left the hotel. That is until she signs up for a one evening only introductory class in ballroom dancing at the hotel and stands face to face with her assigned dance partner - Him - Mr. Oliver Milliken. Suddenly she is whisked away and taken in by his deep blue eyes, the way he gracefully moves when they dance, even the scent of his skin. It all seems so oddly and wonderfully familiar, and yet Kate feels an intense anger toward him. But how could all this be? They just met. Suddenly for the first time in her life Miss Kate Hallee is thrust into a mystery of her own and the answers she must find out for herself.
