Storyline:  Nadine faces a crisis in her friendship with Krista when she discovers that her best friend is having a relationship with her older brother, Darian. Nadine discovers that Mr. Bruner, her sarcastic history teacher, offers advice and listens to her. Despite this, Nadine feels misunderstood and immersed in the challenges of late adolescence. In her directorial debut, Kelly Fremon creates a heartfelt and tragicomic story about a lost teenager, played by Hailee Steinfeld, who was highly praised for her performance.
