Storyline:  Michael portrays five months in the life of an insurance broker who hides a disturbing secret: he keeps 10-year-old Wolfgang locked in his soundproof basement. Maintaining an outwardly ordinary existence, Michael abuses and controls the boy while sustaining a double life. Their uneasy routine unravels through illness, failed escapes, and the collapse of Michael’s carefully constructed façade.
