At the beginning of the movie, there is a short scene of a man beating up his wife. It lasts for a few moments and parts of it are off-screen, but I found it rather violent, and if the subject matter disturbs you, it may make you cringe.

A boy forces a man to manually break his own neck. It is quite disturbing.

There is a brief shootout in a police station. A man is tackled by a mob and threatened with a broken bottle. A woman throws her baby at a subway train.
