The Drop (2014)6.9 /10

Storyline:  Bob works bartending at a bar that a group of mobsters use as a temporary base. When he finds a mistreated puppy, Bob asks for help of a neighbor, Nadia, and an attraction arises between them. When a robbery occurs and Nadia's ex-partner, an abuser, returns, these two events place Bob in a delicate situation. This is truly an enjoyable and well-done thriller that keeps you intrigued until the end, with great acting, particularly by James Gandolfini in what was his last film.
