Storyline:  Dr Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on his first space mission, is repairing the Hubble telescope when disaster strikes and a catastrophic collision with space debris destroys it. Stranded in space, she must overcome loss of communication, dwindling oxygen supplies, and the psychological trauma of the event to survive in space and find a way back to Earth.
