The Great Gatsby (2013)

Plot Summary

In this visually stunning transposition of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel set in the 1920s, Jay Gatsby is a wealthy man who hosts extravagant parties in the hope of winning back the love of his life, Daisy Buchanan, who is married. Meanwhile, Nick Carraway, a bonds salesman, becomes a neighbor and soon a friend of Gatsby's, and although he intends to help him, it all leads to a series of unpredictable events. With a vertiginous pace, the film stands out for its great cast, as well as a wonderful art direction and costumes.
