Let Me In (2010)

Based on John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel, the film follows 12-year-old Owen, who befriends his mysterious neighbor Abby, a vampire. Both outcasts, they face various dangers and conflicts, including their own friendship. Directed by Matt Reeves, it's a worthy, chilling remake of the 2008 Swedish film.
